On May 8, 2025, Honja Hama presented key findings from our research project “Less is More?” as part of the 18th FH Research Forum at FH Campus Wien. In her lecture, the first qualitative and quantitative results on the topic of deprescribing were presented and reflected on in the context of critical care practice, diversity and person-centeredness.

Particular emphasis was placed on the importance of reflective prescribing practice, the influence of social and cultural backgrounds on medication decisions and the need to actively involve patients in the decision-making process on an equal footing.
